Sugar Cookie Cake/Bars

I ended up cutting it into bars later on and never ended up taking a picture for it. This was the first time I used a sugar cookie recipe in this style. It was regular American buttercream on it but with vanilla bean paste instead of vanilla extract. I also decided to used salted butter so that the dessert would not be overpowering with sugar. The buttercream ended up tasting like ice cream which was a huge hit during the holidays. This made me realize that I should switch up my buttercream recipe.
